Angelina Lee, Physiotherapist and owner of PhysioForward in Penguin Tasmania, talks to host Dianne on aspects of postnatal fitness and return to running strategies. She harnesses the time Mum's have to enhance the benefits of incidental exercises during the day, and optimizes pelvic floor recovery choosing positions to focus on the front aspect of the pelvic floor during daily activities. As a runner herself she draws on her personal insights and has run to a marathon and half Iron Man level, so she challenges her distance runners to regain the needed strength and control around the pelvis and their legs to prepare for running following pregnancy and birth.
